Data correction

1. Purpose of this channel

This site reproduces publicly accessible information as it stands in official registries of the Ecuadorian State, and the directory is rebuilt periodically and automatically from the source. This channel therefore handles only discrepancies between what the site publishes and what stands in the official source, that is, reproduction errors attributable to the site itself. What is published and how it updates is detailed in the methodology.

2. How to flag a discrepancy

Write to [email protected] stating the RUC or the profile link, the data you consider discrepant and the data as it stands in the official source. Once the discrepancy is verified against the source, the correction enters the directory's ordinary update cycle.

3. Requests about the information's content

Requests for rectification, updating or erasure concerning the content of the information, that is, what stands in the registry of origin, are not processed by this site, which lacks any power to modify it: they belong to the competent public body that publishes and keeps it. Once the correction is made at the origin, it will be reflected here in the following update. The applicable regime is in the privacy policy.
