1. Nature of the site

Encuentra Ecuador is a private, independent site. It is not an official portal of the Ecuadorian State nor is it affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any public entity of Ecuador.

2. Origin of the information

The corporate information published is publicly accessible and comes from official public registries of the Ecuadorian State. It is reproduced as it stands in the registry, without alteration. The detail of its scope, update frequency and inclusion criteria is in the methodology page.

3. Services for companies and advertising

The site may offer the companies listed in the directory, for a fee, visibility and content services: advertising placements, featured positions, the addition of a logo and expanded information contributed by the interested company itself.

Such content is published clearly separated from the registry information and under the sole responsibility of the company contributing it. Contracting it never alters, conditions or removes the information sourced from public registries, which is published under identical conditions for every company in the directory, whether or not they contract any service.

4. Limitation of liability

The information is offered "as is", for informational and reference purposes. It may contain errors originating at the source or not be current as of the date of consultation. It must not be used as the sole basis for commercial, credit, legal or financial decisions. For actions with legal effect, the official source must be consulted directly.

The published data does not constitute a credit rating, a commercial report or a solvency assessment of any company.

5. Terms of use

Consulting the content and linking to it is allowed. Mass automated extraction of the directory and its systematic reproduction for resale purposes are not. Whoever needs the data in bulk should go to the official source, which publishes it openly.

The site uses Google Analytics for audience measurement; the detail of the data collected and how to opt out is in the privacy policy.

6. Communications

Any communication related to this notice, including flagging discrepancies between what the site publishes and what stands in the official source, should be directed through the data correction channel. The regime applicable to requests about the content of the information is in the privacy policy.
